Hi guys,

it is Saturday April 7 and my Spring Break is almost over but I can say I had a lot of fun :-) I went with my host family to Utah to visit Kacia's Cousin and to do some other things. We started our trip here in Vancouver on March 31 and arrived in Utah after a couple of stops on April 1. We lived in a very big flat with two stories (two bedrooms downstairs, big livingroom, kitchen, bathroom and a big bedroom with bathroom upstairs). Right after we arrived in Utah, Kacia's cousin came with her little son Josiha and visit us. We played a couple of games of pool, Rummikub and talked. On Monday we drove with Kacia's cousin Tracy and her 19 months old son Josiha to Salt Lake City and visited the Olympic Park, because in 2002 Salt Lake City had the Olympic winter games there.

It was very cool to see all that, all the pictures and to read about the Olympic games there. They also had some pictures from the German bob sled team *juhu* I was very surprised :-)

After our visit there we went to Park City and walked along the historical street and visit there some museums. At the end of our day we did a little bit of shopping in Salt Lake City. At night Tracy's husband came and visited us and we had dinner together, played a little bit pool and talked about weight lifting, because he is a weight lifter and trainer. On tuesday Wade, Michael and I we went snowboarding at the Powder Mountain and had a lot of fun, I was afraid that I wouldn't remember how to do it but I did very good *smile*

At night we drove to Odgen to eat dinner with Tracy. After our dinner we drove to Salt Lake City to the Fast Kart Race Place where we had a lot of fun. It is like a Go-Kart- place the only difference is that the cars go faster then a Go- Kart. It was a lot of fun. My best time was 53.42 per Lap. On Wednesday we decided to relaxe a little bit after our bussy day on Tuesday. So Kacia and I we went shopping and Michael and Wade stayed at home. After lunch we went for an hour horse- back- riding at a little ranch a couple of miles away from our hotel. It was a lot of fun. We went up the mountains with the horses, took some pictures and talked. It was so funny because behind my horse another horse followed behind us. It was very cute :-)

At night I went with Kacia to the hot tub to relaxe a little bit. The next day we packed our stuff and drove to Tracy's to eat breakfast with her and after breakfast we drove home, this time without any stops at a hotel. We came home at 11:30 o'clock at night.

All together it was a very fun trip and I enjoyed it a lot to see another part of the United States and to see Tracy again.

Now I have some days here at home before I need to go back to school on Monday. Yesterday it was a very nice day outside, we had about 80°F (26°C) and the enitre day sun :-) So we invited Kacia's sister and Wade's parents for a B-B-Q at night in our backyard. Today the weather is not very good, it is raining and much more colder then yesterday. At 1pm I go to a birthday party of a friend of mine. I dont know what we will do but I am ecxited.

Naja, das wars dann auch erstmal von mir, ich hoffe ihr nehmt mir das nicht übel, das ich schon wieder in Englisch geschrieben habe, aber ich hatte es versprochen. Ich hoffe ihr könnt das alles soweit ganz gut verstehen, wenn nicht dann meldet euch einfach bei mir... und der nächste Beitrag kommt dann auf alle Fälle wieder in Deutsch, das ist versprochen *GroßesEhrenwort*
Zum Schluß wollte ich nochmal ein paar Geburtstagsgrüße loswerden. Ich wünsche meinem Schatzi Bernd und meiner Maus Denise alles ALLES GUTE zum Geburtstag, haben nämlich beide am 11. April Geburtstag *smile* Ich denk ganz doll an euch!
